Aegis is a grand, round shield of polished brass, its boss wreathed in shimmering elemental runes.

Aegis is a Druidic Focus etched with elemental runes to channel primal magic. A Druid or Ranger can use this item as a Spellcasting Focus.

This magical shield bestows a +1 bonus to your Armor Class when wielded, offering enhanced protection to its bearer. This bonus is added on top of the shield's regular AC bonus.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
