Wondrous Item, rare

This pot is full of clear liquid. Upon fully submerging an inanimate object in this acid, it dissolves and is remade into a trinket. The trinket chosen is randomly rolled. Trinkets created by the Acid of Exchange are not affected by it, and are completely immune to acid damage. If a creature becomes submerged in Acid of Exchange, it begins to undergo the exchange process. The first round of this process, the creature takes 1d10 points of acid damage, the next round, 2d10 points of acid damage ,the third round, 3d10 points of acid damage, etc. There is no limit to how high the damage per round can get. This damage continues until the creature is free from the Acid of Exchange or is reduced to 0 hitpoints. Upon being reduced to 0 hitpoints by the exchange process, the creature is completely and utterly dissolved, and in their place is a trinket. If a creature drinks the Acid of Exchange, they take 3d10 points of acid damage per half liter consumed. If this damage reduces them to 0 hitpoints, they are transformed into a trinket.
