Weapon (pistol), artifact

A hollow tube of an unknown silver metal, approximately 20cm long, sits at the end of a bone or ivory handle. A trigger similar to the hand crossbow sits between the barrel and handle, allowing it to fit easily and securely in the palm of your hand. A crystal, visible but immovable, can be seen running through the core of the handle. On one side of the barrel, small dial can be clicked around with a faded mark pointing to one of five symbols - a jagged sphere, a flame, a bolt of lightening, a skull and an intricately patterned surface. When aimed and the trigger mechanism squeezed, something leaves the barrel with explosive force and a resounding crash, causing massive damage to the target on impact.
