This is a plain copper ring inscribed with single runes/letters of several dozen languages. This ring has three charges. The wearer can expend a charge to cast the comprehend languages (Lvl 1)  spell. If the last charge in the ring is used there is a 10% chance that the ring will cease to function and be rendered worthless. At dawn each day one charge is restored to the ring up to the maximum of three charges.

Notes: If all charges are expended there is a 10% chance that the ring will be rendered useless, concentrating on the ring for one hour undisturbed in a quiet location
