Wondrous Item, unknown rarity
After a traumatic injury or other event, a portion of your body is imbued with the spirits of your ancient, warrior ancestors. The limb becomes blackened and hardened on the exterior, taking on a coal like appearance.
The limb may aid the character during combat in the following ways:
- On a successful attack, you may expend 1 HD to add 1D8+2 damage to the attack. If you fall below 50% max HP, you may expend more than one HD in this way in a single attack. If you fall below 10% Max HP, your attacks automatically gain 2D8+4 dmg.
- When taking damage from an attack, you may expend HD to reduce the damage by 1D12+CON bonus.
