While you're attuned to this item, you can recover Sorcery Points during a Short Rest. You can choose any number of available Hit Dice and expend them in order to regain 1 Sorcery Point per Hit Die expended in this way. You do not roll these expended Hit Dice, and you can't use them to recover Hit Points.
