Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a Delver of The Never Ending Dungeon)
Forged from obsidian-black chitin and strung on shadow-silk thread, this amulet hums faintly with energy whenever you enter combat. The carved chitin resembles the stylized mandibles of a monstrous insect, and its power awakens only for those who have faced true death—and survived.
Properties:
- Predator's Stillness:
- While wearing this amulet, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. In dim light or darkness, you may take the Hide action as a bonus action once per turn.
- Burst Step (3/Day). When you roll initiative, you can choose to activate this ability (no action required). Until the end of your first turn:
- Your movement speed is doubled.
- You do not provoke opportunity attacks.
- Your first melee weapon attack on that turn deals an additional 2d8 necrotic damage
