Weapon (maul), uncommon (requires attunement by a By a creature of medium or higher size and a strength score of 18 or higher)

This heavy adamantine anchor has been modified to be used as a weapon. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with this weapon. This weapon gains the Siege propriety, dealing maximum damage against inanimate objects and structures and the Special propriety. Allowing attacks made underwater to be made without disadvantage. While not attuned to this anchor, the special action, Special and Siege proprieties cannot be used. If a creature wielding is of size smaller than medium all attacks are made with disadvantage.

Using this weapon, you gain a new action. Using the chain that links to the anchor, you can swing the anchor as an attack. For this attack, this weapon gains the Reach propriety and deals 1d10 bludgeoning damage instead of the usual 2d6. 

When using the anchor this way, you can use a bonus action to make a grappling check against the target of the attack, provided the target is size huge or smaller. On a successful grapple, you can choose to make the grappled target move 5ft closer to you (no action required), this movement doesnt provoke opportunity attacks and frees the target from the grapple.

Proficiency with a Maul allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
