Passed down among the secretive scholars of the Celestial Dominion, the Arcane Codex contains the accumulated knowledge of an advanced civilization that wove magic and machinery into a single tapestry of power. although its ful potential remains shrouded in mystery, even a glimpse into its secrets can reshape the way arcane magic is understood and wielded.

Enhanced Power: You gain a +1 to your spell attack rolls and save DC

Enhanced Spell Knowledge: While attuned to the Codex, you can use it as a spellbook for your arcane spells. In addition, twice per long rest, you can cast any 5th or lower spell contained in the book without expending spell slots requiring spell components.

Enlightened Casting: When you cast a spell that originates from within the Codex, you gain a +1 bonus to the spell's save DC and attack rolls.

Divine Insight (Once per Long Rest): As an action, you can invoke the Codex's ancient wisdom to cast Legend Lore without requiring material components. (The normal casting time of Legend Lore applies.) Once you use this property, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Lorekeeper's Guidance: The Codex bestows upon its bearer advantage on Intelligence (History) and Intelligence (Arcana) checks.
