Weapon (shortbow), uncommon

This arrow is standard gear for any accomplished assassin and takes a skilled glassblower to create. The connection between the arrowhead and the shaft of this weapon is strong enough to withstand piercing into flesh, but upon impact it will break.

When you hit with a ranged attack, the arrowhead shatters within the flesh of the creature. A large or smaller creature that has the arrowhead stuck inside of them will take 1d4 slashing damage if they move more than 1 foot. The creature can use its action to remove the arrowhead and end this effect.

If the attack misses, roll a d6. On a roll of 1 or 2, the arrowhead shatters upon striking a solid surface. Then make an attack roll against a random creature within 5 feet of the original target (same attack roll modifier). On a hit, the creature takes 1d4 piercing damage from the flying shards.

Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Ammunition, Range, Two-Handed, Vex
