Arms of Gond

This magitek backpack has four retractable arms which can hold and use objects such as tools. Arms have a reach of 5ft and can hold up to 30lbs each. Arms have the same tool proficiencies as their user but they cannot use shields, weapons, or arcane focuses.

Crafting times for all items are halved while this item is equipped. Additionally, the casting time for Mending is 1 action.

Arms of Gond has four uses of the ability Plasma Torch, all of which can be used separately or simultaneously on a bonus action.

Plasma Torch:

Every use, one of the retractable arms becomes a plasma torch, which can Cut or Weld any metal. The plasma torch operates for 1 hour on a single use or 1 hour minus 15 minutes for every additional simultaneous use, i.e. 4 plasma torches can operate simultaneously for 15 minutes before the item needs to recharge. Uses refresh every day at noon.

Cut: Plasma Torch can cut through any metal with ease. One torch can cut a line up to 1 foot long in 1 round. Additional torches can cut simultaneously but they cannot increase the cutting speed of a single torch.

Weld: Plasma Torch can weld any two pieces of metal together(unless this is physically impossible). One torch can weld in a line up to 1 foot long in 1 round. Additional torches can weld simultaneously but they cannot increase the welding speed of a single torch.
