Alasar's Amazing Travel Staff was the first magic item created by Alasar Nimdu, The Blade of Mystra, one of the Chosen of the Goddess Mystra. This staff was forged in the FeyWild realm under the tutelage of Talamar the gnomish inventor. Working as a team, Alasar and Talamar forged the staff to help Alasar and his companions make their way to destinations they urgently needed to get to on their quest to save the multiverse from the Spell of Six being cast by the wrong forces.
While wielding the staff you know and can cast the following spells as if you have them prepared without any need for material components. You can cast the spell as long as you have the required arcane spell slot to cast the altered spell.
- Thunderstep as a level 2 spell
- Dimension Door as a level 3 spell
- Teleportation Circle as level 4 spell
- Arcane Gate as a level 5 spell
- Teleport as a level 5 spell
- Plane Shift as a Level 5 spell
- Gate as a level 6 spell - This ability recharges after 2D4+2 days
Additionally, when you cast the spell Teleport you roll two sets of percentile dice and chose the better result.
