Automagica equipment is the culmination of scientific and magical research from Efdores and boasts the open secret to their military success and might. How it is made is a closely guarded secret, even the ore it is made out of is unknown by even the best dwarven smith, but what makes it even the more curious is only members of the Efdores military seem to have the knowledge of how to use the equipment, it is almost worthless in anyone else's hands.
In order to attune, equip, and /or use an Automagica item you must have the boon "Automagica Circuits".
Whenever you would be hit by a spell that has an attack roll you may roll 1d4, on a 4 the effects and damage you would take from the spell are negated entirely. This however does not stop the spell from targeting other individuals such as spells with multiple attack rolls and targets like Eldritch Blast or Chain Lightning.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
