Special Properties
Maneuvers of the Duelist. While attuned to this weapon, you gain 2 superiority dice (d8s), which refresh after a short or long rest. You may expend one to perform one of the following Battle Master maneuvers when you hit with a weapon attack or as a reaction when applicable:

Menacing Attack: The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 13) or have disadvantage on attacks against anyone but you until the end of their next turn.

Distracting Strike: On a hit, the next attack roll against the target by an attacker other than you has advantage.

Disarming Attack: The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 13) or drop one item of your choice that it’s holding.

Riposte: When a creature misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the creature.
Swashbuckler’s Agility. While wielding this weapon and not wearing heavy armor or using a shield, you gain +1 to your AC.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
