Wondrous Item, rare

This magical mortar and pestle is wrought with gold and jewels to flank the fine-engraved runes of its rim. The metal always shines and cannot be made dirty or dusty, as all material will find itself naturally impossible to stick at the bottom and along its sides, and both are virtually indestructible by mundane means. The Apothecary's Masterwork is enchanted with lesser transmutation glyphs, storing inside of it a potent reserve of regenerating Weavebound power. A creature in possession of the Apothecary's Masterworks gains the following features:

Benefits of Practice: When making an ability check for either the Alchemist's Tools kit, Herbalist's Tools kit, or Medicine check to create a medicinal poultice or salve, you gain a bonus of 1d6 on the check. Furthermore, any check you make to identify poisons, potions, poultices and the like are made with advantage, drawing on the countless echoes of alchemical works done through this magical pestle in its long tenure of use.

New Works to Rival the Ancients: After crafting ten potions with The Apothecary's Masterwork, you gain Expertise in checks made with your Alchemist's Tool Kit. After crafting twenty-five, you gain advantage on all Alchemist Tool's Kit checks. After crafting fifty potions, you may craft two potions of the same kind when successfully crafting any potion you have the recipe of.

Master Alchemist: You make potions whose composition is hard-pressed to be rivaled by others, even if they have the same ingredients. A number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus, when you craft a potion that heals hit points, or a poison that deals damage, you may choose to craft that potion in such a way that when either healing hit points, or dealing damage, it heals (and deals) the maximum amount allowed by the particular potion, or poison.

Notes: Bonus: Medicine, Bonus: Ability Checks
