You can use this book as a spellcasting focus for your wizard spells, and you gain a +3 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your wizard spells.
You can use this book as a Spellbook. In addition, while holding this book, you can take a Bonus Action to cast a spell you have written in it, without expending a spell slot or using any Material components. Once used, this property of the tome can’t be used again until the next dawn.
Sentience. The Astil Manuscript is a sentient, lawful neutral item with an Intelligence of 20, a Wisdom of 15, and a Charisma of 16. It has hearing and normal vision out to a range of 60 feet. The Manuscript can communicate telepathically to the attuned creature as long as it and the attuned creature are on the same plane of existence regardless of form.
Personality. Sora has a very proud and cheerful personality, being enthusiastic in most situations regardless of any dangers. As such, she is quite straightforward and open, unafraid of speaking her thoughts. However, because of this, she can appear spontaneous and audacious, usually acting in a risque manner. Additionally, she can be quite shrewd and mischievous, finding amusement in observing and teasing those around her. But despite her easygoing attitude, Sora is highly loyal and reliable, willing to fight and support her comrades.
Furthermore, Sora is exceptionally confident and proud of her own abilities as a Manuscript, commonly proclaiming herself as a genius in spite of not quite understanding the process.
Shape Change. The Manuscript may take the form of a humanoid named Sora as an action or back into the form of a book as a bonus action. When she does, Sora appears as a young woman with long grey-white hair and a large black bow on top of her head. Her attire consists of a black strapless camisole with white stripes connected to a black choker with a metal ring, a red mini skirt with white clothes, black stockings, and brown loafers. Additionally, she also sports black arm sleeves held together with white bands, a black grommet belt, small black belts on both legs with the right one on the upper thigh and left one on her ankle.
While in this form, Sora can produce an illusion of herself (book form) into her hand, and can cast from it. In combat, she has the statistics of a archmage except she has the above appearance. If she is reduced to 0 hit points or is hit by a dispel magic spell, she reverts back to book form and cannot use this feature again for 24 hours.
While in her book form, she can choose to hover around the attuned creature, always being within 5 feet of it. This allows the attuned creature to cast spells from the book, even while having both of its hands full.
