Simply enough, this a serrated greatsword with a rotating blade. The rotation is activated by a lil’ fantasy!pullcord at the hilt. It has the range of a normal greatsword, and does the same damage when its chainsaw-ness is inactivate. When it’s rotating, it does 2d4 +5 damage if it hits, with one bonus action which can be used to attack again, but I suppose that’s up to you.
It’s a tad heavier than a normal greatsword, but not by much.
Enjoy your chainsaw! (This is what happens when you get someone into D&D and they ask for the most vague weapons ever. You make chainsaws.)
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
