This staff is a 6' white ivory that held a black diamond atop it that had been encrusted by silver runes. The runes flowed down the staff until they reached midway and where replaced by a blue steel grip that glowed in sunlight with a radiant warmth and a harrowing chill in moonlight. Which would be reflected in the wielders eyes at the same time.
While wielding this staff, you have advantage on saving throws against any spells. In addition, if you roll a 20 for the save you negate all of the spells effect and damage. You gain a +3 to spell attack and DC.
The staff of Agatha the uncanny was created to enhance or bestow a deeper connection to the arcane source on its creator a highly renowned but jealous wizard who perished eons ago. Agatha was infuriated with the knowledge that she would never be able to manipulate/comprehend spells in the manner that others those born with the connection could. So she began a series of secret experiments in which she softened kidnapped than murdered those with the connection and in an attempt to imbued herself or objects with such ability's . Eventually she succeeded but was shortly exposed and executed for her crimes, with the staff being lost after the third Great War.
The staff grants the user the ability to alter spells in the sane manner that Sorcerers can. You user gains 2 sorcery points per level Max 20. Regains all 20 at dawn.
Careful Spell
When you cast a spell that forces other creatures to make a saving throw, you can protect some of those creatures from the spell’s full force. To do so, you spend 1 sorcery point and choose a number of those creatures up to your spell modifier (minimum of one creature). A chosen creature automatically succeeds on its saving throw against the spell.
Distant Spell
When you vast a spellthat has a range of 5 feet or greater, you can spend 1 sorcery point to double the range of the spell.
When you cast a spell that has a range of touch, you can spend 1 sorcery point to make the range of the spell 30 feet.
Empowered Spell
When you roll damage for a spell, you can spend 1 sorcery point to reroll a number of the damage dice up to your Spell modifier (minimum of one). You must use the new rolls.
You can use Empowered Spell even if you have already used a different Metamagic option during the casting of the spell.
Extended Spell
When you cast a spell that has a duration of 1 minute or longer, you can spend 1 sorcery point to double its duration, to a maximum duration of 24 hours.
Heightened Spell
When you cast a spell that forces a creature to make a saving throw to resist its effects, you can spend 3 sorcery points to give one target of the spell disadvantage on its first saving throw made against the spell.
Quickened Spell
When you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 action, you can spend 2 sorcery points to change the casting time to 1 bonus action for this casting.
Subtle Spell
When you cast a spell, you can spend 1 sorcery point to cast it without any somatic or verbal components.
Twinned Spell
When you cast a spell that targets only one creature and doesn’t have a range of self, you can spend a number of sorcery points equal to the spell’s level to target a second creature in range with the same spell (1 sorcery point if the spell is a cantrip).
To be eligible, a spell must be incapable of targeting more than one creature at the spell’s current level. For example, Magic Missile and Scorching Ray aren’t eligible, but Ray of Frost is.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
