This longsword, when drawn from its sheath, can be combined with the scabbard to create a bigger, bulkier weapon. With this form, you can channel both fire and wind into your strikes, delivering powerful blows with fiery gusts that cleave through enemies.
Base Form (Sword)
Properties:

Properties: Versatile (1d10 damage when used with two hands)
Abilities:
Flame Kissed Edge: When you’re just using the sword (without the sheath), it’s got flames running along its edge.
Effect: On a hit, you deal an extra 1d6 fire damage to the target.
Once per short rest, you can activate Flame Burst, causing the sword to erupt in flames for a second, dealing 1d6 fire damage to all enemies within 5 feet.
Combined Form (Sword + Sheath)
Properties:
Weapon Type: Longsword (now it’s a two-handed weapon with the sheath attached)
Damage: 1d10 slashing damage
Properties: Heavy, Two-handed, Reach (adds 5 feet of range when combined)
Abilities:
Infernal Slash: When you combine the sword with the sheath, you can unleash a powerful charge-up attack with fire and wind.
Action: Takes 1 full turn to charge the sword, then you can release Infernal Slash.
Effect: The target and all creatures in a 15-foot line in front of you must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Strength modifier + proficiency bonus).
On a failed save, the creatures take 3d6 slashing damage and 2d6 fire damage, plus they get knocked back 10 feet.
On a successful save, they take half damage and aren’t knocked back.
Cooldown: Recharges after 2 turns.
Windflame Arc: While charging the Infernal Slash, you can unleash quick fiery air slashes with the sword.
Effect: The first strike of the Infernal Slash creates a burst of fire and wind, dealing 1d6 fire damage to enemies within 10 feet of the initial target.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
