Armor (shield), artifact
Aegis is an engraved bracelet with a large sized ball on it. On the other side there’s a turnable ring.
Aegis’ Stats: +3 AC when Expanded
Expand: When the ring is turned to the left the ball seemingly opens and expands to form a shield. (Bonus Action)
Collapse: When the ring is turned to the right while it’s Expanded the shield collapses back into the bracelet. (Bonus Action)
Deflect: When Aegis is Collapsed you can use your reaction to expand Aegis to subtract 1d8 from Damage.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
