"In some forgotten battlefield, a dying soldier made one last wish—not for victory, but for one more swing. The ring answered."
This slender silver ring has a faint crack running along its band, but it never breaks. When worn, it hums softly with potential energy. Occasionally, after a weapon strike lands nearby, a shimmering echo of the blow flickers in the air—then strikes again.
-
Echo of the Blow. When a creature within 30 feet of you hits another creature with a weapon attack, you may trigger the ring’s effect as a reaction. Roll a d6:
-
On a 5 or 6, the weapon attack strikes again, dealing its damage a second time to the same target.
-
The duplicated strike does not require a new attack roll and cannot crit, but the damage is rolled separately and uses the same modifiers.
-
-
Once More... You can use this feature 6 times per long rest.
-
This only works on weapon attacks (melee or ranged, magical or nonmagical).
-
The extra strike does not trigger additional effects that rely on hitting (e.g., Sneak Attack, Divine Smite, on-hit effects).
-
The attacker does not need to be allied with the wearer—it can trigger off any creature’s attack (including enemies), letting you manipulate the battlefield in surprising ways.
Notes: Requires Attunement by a Rogue or Ranger.
