Once attuned, the amulet provides many benefits to its wearer:
- Can be used as a spell focus for necromancy spells
- Grants Resistance to Necrotic Damage
- Extends the length of the Animate Dead spell to span of attunement
- 1/Short Rest: Permits wearer use of a Turn Undead at the basic level
- 1/Long Rest: Permits wearer to attempt to exert control over undead not created by one of their spells up to 1+ the wearer's level. (DC 14 Wisdom Save)
Curse: Restless Life
Attuning to this amulet curses the wearer to a life of restless longevity. If the wearer is brought to 0 hit points by any damage other than radiant damage, they regain 1 hit point at the start of their next turn. If the attunement is broken by any means other than a Remove Curse or Wish spell, the wearer's life is sucked into the Void and their body becomes a zombie with hit points that equal the max total of the creature's hit dice.
