These mystical gauntlets resemble tightly wound, starlit fist wraps, shimmering faintly like the night sky. The fabric feels weightless and cool to the touch, but radiates with immense power—woven from the threads of the Astral Plane and blessed by a long-forgotten order of monk-philosophers who punched holes in the fabric of reality (literally).
While wearing these bracers, you gain +2 to attack and damage rolls when making an Unarmed Strike. You also gain a +2 bonus to Armor Class if you are wearing no armor and using no Shield. When landing a critical hit, the gauntlets strike at the opponent's spirit and steal two ki points for the wearer but may not exceed their maximum. And lastly, once per short rest, as a bonus action, you can spend one ki point to unleash Blinkstep Flurry, causing your form to blur and fracture like an astral mirage. Until the end of your turn, you gain the following effects:
- Your movement doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks.
- You can teleport up to 10 feet before each Unarmed Strike you make (including Flurry of Blows attacks).
- If you hit a creature with at least three unarmed strikes this turn, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw of (DC 8 + prof bonus + Wis mod) or be stunned until the start of your next turn.
