Aegis of the Dawnforged (Rare, Requires Attunement by a Paladin) A radiant shield embossed with the symbol of an ancient celestial order. Grants +1 to AC while wielded. Once per long rest, as a reaction when an ally within 30 feet is reduced to 0 HP, the bearer can invoke the shield’s power to cause that ally to drop to 1 HP instead, and gain temporary hit points equal to the bearer’s Charisma modifier + proficiency bonus. Once per long rest the bearer can cast Bless (no concentration, lasts 1 minute). Revered by members of the Sacred Flame, this shield may respond to divine oaths, glowing brighter in moments of selfless sacrifice.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
