A delicate glass phial filled with a swirling, pale-red mist suspended in a thin liquid. It vibrates softly when danger is near. The fluid is rumored to be drawn from the first mortal to bleed within the Veilmoor fog.
Use:
You may drink this phial as an action (or administer it to another creature). Upon doing so:
-
Regain 4d12 hit points.
-
End all conditions currently affecting you (e.g., blinded, stunned, poisoned, etc.).
-
If used within 1 minute of death, it revives the creature with 1 HP and the above benefits (no death saves needed, provided the body is intact and not disintegrated).
Curse – Mist-Touched Blood:
Upon use, the following effects take hold:
-
The next Fracture Check you make is at disadvantage, as your soul brushes the edge of the Mistborn’s dream.
-
Permanent Mark: Your blood becomes pale and mist-like—visible when wounded or magically inspected.
-
Any Cleric or Divine caster attempting to heal you must succeed on a DC 15 Religion check (once per healing attempt) or the healing fails.
-
Failing this check does not consume the spell slot or item used, but no effect takes place.
-
Appearance:
-
The vial is sealed with bone wax and wrapped in moth-eaten silk bearing faded holy runes.
-
The liquid emits no light but glows faintly in dreams.
-
Once opened, the mist howls softly before vanishing.
Notes: Crafting: Only possible by extracting “veil-blood” from a Mistborn Thrall during a lunar convergence.
