while playing for the first time with a group of 6 players, one of the PC's landed a natural 20, and after rolling damage i saw that the damage automatically calculated critical damage. later on one of my creatures rolled a nat 20, but when i hit the attack option, it did not do crit damage. after looking online it says i need to right click and select the option for "Critical" but when i right click its just standard right click options, "back, forward, save as, print, ETC...."

I tried to go through and edit my homebrew monster attacks to have the [rollable] mumbo-jumbo here is the full text if someone can see where i messed up....

**Staff of the Styx.** Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit (one hand): 10 (3d6) necrotic damage.
Hit (two hands): 14 (3d8) necrotic damage.
Funestus gains a +1 bonus to attack, damage, and spell attack rolls. Once per day, he can cast *Blight* using the staff. The staff also grants a +2 bonus to damage rolls for necromancy spells (this does not stack with the +1 bonus above).

i deleted the current rouge i was working on and picked the other rouge option in the character builder.

I bought a hand full of digital books. PHB (2014), XGtE, TCoE, SCAG, and DM Guide (2014). I tried to build a Rouge and at 3rd level my subclass options are thief, and swashbuckler.  Assassin, and Arcane Trickster are nowhere to be seen. I thought maybe i picked the wrong version, but i tried a different one and only had the thief option. so i went back to the (2014) rouge, and once again still missing the other subclasses...

I purchased the 2014 Player Handbook and XGtE and tried to make a Paladin with an Oath of Vengeance, but when i go to select my oath, i only see Devotion, Conquest, and Redemtion. There is no option for Oath of the Ancients, or Vengence... what am i missing here?
