There are some good ideas in the Dark Souls "5E" RPG, particularly the Position system and using enemy initiative as a DC for an initiative check.
But it also misses out on the DS crafting system (which is my favourite part!) and uses abstracted combat, rather than a tactical grid (which is odd, considering how important flanking and manoeuvring is.)
