I was wondering about naming my weapons, like a true warrior should. I wield 2 shortswords strapped to my forearms, called Sting and Slash. My sunsword is called Dawnbreaker, and my bow is Foestriker. I am having trouble naming my arcane focus staff, so if you want to help, just quote me and say it. Share your weapons and your names.
NO!!!!!! Firebolt is much better. It deals more damage, and it is the same thing if you use it as utility. Create bonfire is not worth the cantrip spot. The utility option is pretty bad too, because if you are camping, it takes more than one minute to take a short or long rest, and you can only concentrate for a minute.
Max level? Sorceror every time. I actually did a pvp with the wizard in my group, and I killed him. He had to start a new character. Could depend on initiative count though, because magic missile can blind and seriously impede casting.
This backstory has a lot of options. A god could have shielded you, or you could have dragon blood that protected you. The fire from the meteor could have awakened your pyromancer or phoenix powers or sent you hurtling through shadowfell or into an ocean, giving you sea sorcery power. Maybe the meteorite had runes inscribed on it that makes you a runechild.
I was thinking to multiclass to a wizard once my sorceror reaches lvl 20, so I have looked into this a lot. The spellbook would give her a lot of flexibility, but it would also be a bit of a drawback. In the end, it depends on if she has proper stats and why she is multiclassing. If she has a really high charisma and intelligence, go for it. Otherwise, use the 4th level ability increase, and mulitclass next level. If she is multiclassing for power and more spells, it wouldnt work out so good. If she is multiclassing from a roleplaying standpoint, like learning more about her magic, then magic in general, then I would agree.
I prefer Wild Magic because it has pretty good abilities, like metamagic, and it is pretty fun to RP, and it can be pretty interesting. Backstories are also really fun. I play a homebrew wild magic subsubclass, elemental incident. I was really hoping to play this before I had started D&D, and I was really surprised to find such a perfect subclass to fit it.
I once used a polymorph on an enemy to turn them into a sheep, and the DM had me roll on the wild magic surge table. I got the polymorph surge, so I also turned into a sheep. It was really weird.
You're in luck! My local library does exactly this. You can usually play campaigns, as I do. Groups can be broken up into kids, teens, and adults, and have them play on separate days, such as kids one week, teens the next, and adults the next. Since most people have the same amount of experience (players, not characters), there can be different DMs, or there can be a solid DM and subs, if the normal DM is absent. You will probably have to buy the source books and share them with the players.
Maybe you can make some kind of martial casting class, kind of like a paladin with a weapon as a focus. At higher levels, make them able to attack with the focus only and cast a spell as a bonus action.
What if a character was a caster? wouldnt that make the rest of the party kind of useless?Im not sure you should do it, but if you did, either ban casters from campaign, or make the spells they cast weak.

You fall into it and it seals, trapping you in there until you die of suffocation.
I wish to be a god.

I can kill anyone with one punch...

All magic shapes reality. You are taking the thread(magic)that runs through the fabric(reality)and twisting it to your means.

This would be nearly impossible to roleplay, since the old ones are monstrosities, and the gods are their mortal enemies.

As long as you dont have a set AC on you, like a monks unarmored defense, you can. It stacks with bonuses, and bonuses stack with anything.
