Antimagic Susceptibility. The carriage is incapacitated while in the area of an antimagic field. If targeted by dispel magic, the carriage must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against the caster's spell save DC or fall unconscious for 1 minute.
False Appearance. While the carriage remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal carriage.
Momentum. When the carriage uses its action to make a slam attack, it can move up to its speed in a straight line before or after the attack.
Run Over. The carriage can enter a hostile creature's space and stop there, so long as the creature is prone. The first time it enters a prone creature's space on a turn, that creature takes 16 (3d10) bludgeoning damage. A creature that is Medium or smaller can make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw to avoid the wheels. On a success, it takes no damage.
Trampling Charge. If the carriage moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a slam attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the carriage can make another slam attack against it as a bonus action.
Vehicle. The carriage can fit up to four Medium or smaller creatures or one Large creature inside it. The carriage provides total cover to creatures inside it, or three-quarters cover if the doors are open. The carriage can choose to open, close, lock, or unlock its doors at the start of each of its turns. Attacks against the carriage have advantage if made from inside it.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Description
An automatic carriage can propel itself forward or backward by turning its own wheels, without needing any horses or oxen to pull it. These vehicles are considered the height of luxury, and nobles of wealth often hire a costly wizard or artificer just to have one custom-made.
Constructed Nature. An animated object doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
An animated object reduced to 0 hit points loses its animating magic. It becomes inanimate, and it is too damaged to be of much use or value to anyone.
