Toxic Steps. Whenever the Venom Spawn moves it leaves a trail of sludge on the ground that Forces a CON save and if it fails it then poisons whatever walks in it.

Amphibious. The Venom Spawn can breathe underwater and on land.

Regeneration. Every Turn the Venom Spawn regenerates (1d4) hit points.

Spider Climb. The Venom Spawn can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check and it can hang from ceilings.

 
Actions

Sludge Attacks: The Venom spawn deals damage to itself by 2, 4, or 8 when it attacks depending on its attacks but it also poisons the target for 12 hours depending on if the target fails a CON save. Recommended CON save: DC = X.

Lethal Spin. Melee Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5ft., multiple targets and every creature within the within the (5-foot) spin range make a separate attack roll for each one. Hit:  11 (2d8 + 4) poison damage and poisoning the target if they fail a CON save. Costs: 2 HP

Noxious Spittle. Ranged Attack: +8 to hit, range 55/115 ft., Single target. Hit: 18 (2d8 + 8) poison damage and poisoning the target if they fail a CON save. Costs: 4 HP

Sludge Wave. Short Ranged Attack: +8 To hit, range: Comes directly from the Venom Spawn's body out to 10-15 feet range max 15 feet. ft Multiple Targets In a Line 5 feet wide. Hit: 24 (2d8+10) poison damage and poisoning the target if they fail a CON save. Costs: 8 HP.

 

 

Reactions

Noxious Repellent. Whenever the venom spawn is hit with an acid or lightning based damage it absorbs the damage and deals (1d4+1) increased damage on its next turn.

Toxic Absorption. Whenever the Venom Spawn takes poison damage it regenerates (2x the amount of poison damage dealt to it) of its health over 2 turns and it cannot poison itself. If there is more than 1 venom spawn they cannot heal each other from their own attacks.

Description

The Horrendous malformed Venom Spawn is one of the most feared monsters ever. This creature lives in the swamp and the Underdark. It is an amphibious creature and creates a toxic sludge wave behind it whenever it moves. This creature is known to kill without warning and is highly toxic. Its toxic sludge is known to kills plants and animals just by having them come into contact with its sludge trail. The Venom Spawn immune to slashing weapons because of its thick toxic sludge that covers the body which prevents the slashing weapon from dealing any damage to its body, however, the body is highly susceptible to bludgeoning weapons. The Venom Spawn's poisonous sludge can kill a man in around 1-2 hours without an antidote so be wary of this toxic aberration of nature.
