Legendary Actions

Arcan can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Arcan regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Low Magic. Arcan casts a spell of 3rd level or lower.

Mid Magic (Costs 2 actions). Arcan casts a spell of 6th level or lower.

High Magic (Costs 3 Actions). Arcan casts a spell of 9th level or lower.

Description

Arcan was gifted as a child, a mage from birth with potent flame magic that scared those around him. Fearing for their own lives, his parents sent him away to study magic while closely supervised by a powerful group of warriors trained to deal with mages. After 20 years he managed to gain enough strength to escape these warriors and fled to a system of caves. In these caves he found a strange rune that flashed light across his form. Nothing seemed to happen until a few years later, in a ritual gone wrong, he lost his life. After a few minutes of drifting in darkness, his eyes opened in a completely different place. After doing some research he learned he went to a separate reality! After this cycle of death and reincarnation happened close to 20 times, he learned that none of these mortals cared for his plight, so he made a pact with Asmodeus. In trade for his services to furthering his plans, he would grant Arcan the power and resources to begin his plan to return to his own home.
