Eldritch Defense. While the witch is wearing no armor and wielding no shield, its AC includes its Intelligence modifier.
Spellcasting. The witch is a 7th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). It can cast find familiar at will and knows the following spells, all as warlock spells.
Cantrips (at-will): chill touch, friends, prestidigitation, vicious mockery
1st level (4 slots): arms of Hadar, bane, detect magic
2nd level (3 slots): enthrall, hold person, suggestion
3rd level (3 slots): fear, hunger of Hadar, vampiric touch
4th level (2 slots): polymorph
Multiattack. The witch makes two dagger attacks.
Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) poison damage.
Witchfire. Ranged Spell Attack: +6 to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (4d6) fire damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage.
Dark Hex (Recharges on a Short or Long Rest). The witch magically curses one creature that it can see within 60 feet. The curse lasts for 1 hour or until it loses consciousness. Until the curse ends, the witch deals an extra 1d6 damage and regains hit points equal to the same amount whenever it hits the target with an attack.
Vengeful Curse. When a creature deals damage to the witch and the witch can see a creature cursed by its Dark Hex within 30 feet of it, it can channel the injury through the hex. The cursed creature takes the same amount of damage.
Description
Witches are spellcasters that practice dark magic. Unlike the monsters known as hags, not all witches are women, and they aren't fey, but many practice witchcraft that was long ago passed down from true hags. Some witches are evil and some are not, but nearly all witches must face isolation from society as a result of their craft.
