Aboleth's Touch. The aboleth spawn can't regain hit points unless underwater. When outside a body of water, the aboleth spawn takes 6 (1d12) acid damage every 10 minutes unless moisture is applied to the skin before 10 minutes have passed.
Contagion. An creature coming in direct contact with the aboleth spawn's skin must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or become diseased. The disease has no effect for 1 minute and can be removed by any magic that cures disease. After 1 minute, the diseased creature's skin becomes translucent and slimy, applying Aboleth's Touch.
Water-born Fortitude. If damage reduces the aboleth spawn to 0 hit points while it is contact with water, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5+ the damage taken, unless the damage is acidic or from a critical hit. On a success, the aboleth spawn drops to 1 hit point instead.
Collective Mind. A strange psychic connection links the spawn to their master. For every 5 Aboleth Spawn or 1 Aboleth within 30ft gain +1 Armor Class, to a maximum of 16 Armor Class.
Multiattack. The aboleth spawn makes two melee attacks
Lurch. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, the target is affected by Contagion.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.
Puke. Ranged Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, range 10/20 ft., 1 target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) acid damage.
Supernatural Swimmer. The aboleth spawn swim up to 10 ft towards the attacker. To do so, the aboleth spawn must see the attacker and be swimming.
Description
Out of the dark sea a moan is heard. A thin translucent hand lurches into view, glossy eyes staring. A glossy dark diseased form, a creature touched by an Aboleth, driven to instinctively protect it's master with cold hands.
