Description

The Praetorian has a large Queen like head crest, hinting to its ability to molt into a new egg layer for the hive. It is more grey in comparison to the jet black hide of the Xenomorph Drone. It has a long bladed tail not unlike that of a Warrior, only longer and more matured.

Lair and Lair Actions

The lair of a Praetorian is covered in a sticky resin that mimics that of bees. It is created from Xenomorph vomit.

Regional Effects

The region containing a Xenomorph Queen lair is a safe haven for all xenomorphs that have been born to that specific Queen Xenomorph, which creates one or more of the following effects:

Any Xenomorph that belongs to that hive can enter a long rest inside of the hive as long as there are no trespassers detected within the hive.

Any Xenomorph that belongs to this nest can communicate with the Queen and receive orders from inside of the hive.

If the [monster name] dies, these effects fade over the course of 3d8 days.
