Aura of Desolation. At the start of each of his turns, Zatukhin deals 10 necrotic damage to any creature within 10 feet of him.
Hellish Smite. Zatukhin adds 5d8 necrotic damage to his melee weapon attacks against a target. If the target is an undead or fiend, he adds an additional 5d8 radiant damage.
Inexorable Will. Zatukhin has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
Lance Mastery. Zatukhin's attacks with a lance are made with advantage and deal an extra 1d6 piercing damage.
Spellcasting. Zatukhin is a 9th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). He has the following spells prepared:
1st Level (4 Slots): Bane, Command, Inflict Wounds
2nd Level (3 Slots): Blindness/Deafness, Hold Person, Spiritual Weapon
3rd Level (3 Slots): Bestow Curse, Vampiric Touch

Multiattack. Zatukhin makes three attacks: one with his lance and two with his necrotic-infused shield.
Lance. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (1d12 + 5) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage.
Necrotic Shield Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or have its hit point maximum reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest.
Channel Divinity: Dreadful Aspect (1/Short Rest). Zatukhin can use his Channel Divinity to invoke a terrifying presence. Each creature of his choice within 30 feet that can see him must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.

Necrotic Infusion. Zatukhin channels his necromantic energies into his weapon, imbuing it with a dark aura. He can choose to deal an additional 2d6 necrotic damage with his next weapon attack this turn. Additionally, if the attack hits, the target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or have its movement speed halved until the start of Zatukhin's next turn.

Spectral Shield (Recharge 5-6). Zatukhin summons a spectral shield to protect himself from harm. He gains a +5 bonus to AC until the start of his next turn, and any creature that makes a melee attack against him takes 2d6 necrotic damage as the shield lashes out with dark energy. After using this bonus action, Zatukhin must roll a d6 at the start of each of his turns. On a roll of 5 or 6, the ability recharges.

Necrotic Ward. When Zatukhin takes damage from a spell or a ranged weapon attack, he can use his reaction to absorb some of the energy and convert it into temporary hit points. He gains temporary hit points equal to half the damage taken. Additionally, if the source of the damage was a spell, he can cast Counterspell using his spellcasting ability as if using a 5th-level spell slot. This ability can be used once per round.

Defiant Retaliation. When an enemy within 10 feet of Zatukhin scores a critical hit against him, he can use his reaction to make an immediate weapon attack against that enemy with advantage. The force of the attack represents his unyielding spirit retaliating against those who seek to harm him.
Legendary Actions. Zatukhin can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Zatukhin regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
- Attack. Zatukhin makes one attack with his lance or necrotic shield bash.
- Dreadful Rebuke (Costs 2 Actions). Zatukhin uses his Dreadful Aspect ability without expending a use of Channel Divinity.
Mythic Actions Zatukhin can take 3 mythic actions, choosing from the options below. Only one mythic action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Zatukhin regains spent mythic actions at the start of his turn.
- Necrotic Surge. Zatukhin channels his mastery over necromantic magic, causing dark energy to surge through his weapon. He makes a lance attack or necrotic shield bash attack, dealing an additional 4d6 necrotic damage on a hit. Cost: 1 Mythic Action.

Soul Rend (Costs 2 Actions). Zatukhin taps into the power of his Oathbreaker abilities, attempting to sunder the very essence of a creature's soul. He targets a creature within 30 feet that he can see. The target must make a DC 18 Charisma saving throw or take 8d8 necrotic damage and become stunned until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the target takes half damage and isn't stunned. Cost: 2 Mythic Actions.
