Aura of Malice. All enemies that start their turn within 10ft of the spirit takes 3 (1d6) necrotic damage and those creatures must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of the fox, while frightened the creature’s speed is reduced to 0 ft and it can’t look away from the fox. Enemies can repeat the saving throw at the end of their turns ending the effect on a success, all that succeed on the save are immune to the spirit’s Aura of Malice for the next 24 hours.
Control Undead. All undead that start their turn within 30ft of the spirit and of a CR of 3 or less are under its control until the death of the spirit.
Etherealness. As a bonus action the 9 Tailed Fox can enter the Ethereal Plane from the Material Plane, or vice versa.
Multiattack. The fox makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) piercing damage plus 3 (1d6) necrotic damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.
Miasma of Death (Recharge 5–6). The fox exhales a noxious gas in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 42 (12d6) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Any creatures that are reduced to 0 hit points by this attack they rise as a zombie under the fox’s control.
