Never Die Twice. When killed in any way I.E. Fire Damage, Slashing Damage, Necrotic Damage, the Unkillable Stalker gains resistance to whatever damage killed it and keeps that resistance through its 'lives'. In addition to the resistance the Unkillable Stalker cannot be killed the same way twice. So if it was killed with fire once, it can still be injured by it but fire damage will not kill it. If it goes down to zero hit points by a damage type that previously killed it, it will instead come back with 1 hp.
Resurrection: When killed the Unkillable Stalker revives after 1D10 minutes and comes back with 10 extra HP to its maximum health each time it is killed, this 10 HP stacks with each resurrection. It is brought back wherever its body is buried and cannot leave more that 5 miles from its grave. The only way to truly kill and Unkillable stalker is to destroy its body in the grave.
Multiattack: The Unkillable Stalker may make two attacks with its machete.
Machete: + 7 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 10 (2d6+ 4) [slashing] damage.
Save Yourself: As an action the Unkillable Stalker can create a 20 ft radius of fear around it. Creatures within the area must make a Charisma saving throw DC 14 or be frightened for 1d4 rounds. At the end of each of their turns they can remake the saving throw to try to shrug off the effect.
Reaction: As a reaction to being hit, Unkillable Stalker can cast misty step, turning into fog and appearing within 30 ft of an area it can see.
Description
Standing at nearly eight feet tall this creature was a warrior in life, but in death it is nothing more than a vengeful spirit, a guarding of its tomb and the area it was bound to protect.
The Unkillable Stalker has dark grey flesh that is showing signs of decay, and tattered clothes which cover its muscular frame. On its face it wears a hand carved mask of wood with two rugged eye holes allowing its black eyes to stare out from beneath it.
