Life Draining Immortality. When the snake dies It remains at 0 hit points and is unconscious. If the snake is unconscious in this way, at the start of its turn it causes the closest living creature in a 30 ft radius to make a DC 10 constitution saving throw; the target can choose to fail. On a failed save the target takes 1d4 necrotic damage. The snake then regains hit points equal to the damage taken and is no longer unconscious (maximum of 4 hit points). The amount rolled is the snakes new maximum hit points until this feature is used again.
