Flyby. The Underdrake doesn’t provoke an opportunity attack when it flies out of an enemy’s reach.
Nightmare Odor. The Underdrake exudes a faint smell in a 5ft radius. When a hostile creature enters the area for the first time, or starts its turn there, it must succeed on a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure the creature has disadvantage on its attack rolls against the Underdrake until the start of its next turn. On a success the creature is unaffected. Creatures immune to the frightened condition are unaffected by this trait.
Rend. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) slashing damage plus 7 (3d4) psychic damage.
Description
Underdrakes are Dragonnel that were forced to adapt to the harsh environment of the underdark. They are more agile than their Dragonnel cousins, and have a more delicate frame.
The warped magical energy of the underdark has given them the ability to exude a fungal odor that keeps unwanted creatures away. With every Rend attack they exhale magical spores, scarring both mind and body.
