Traits
Amphibious. The dragon can breathe air and water.
Actions
Multiattack. The dragon makes two Rend attacks.
Rend. Melee Attack Roll: +6, reach 5 ft. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) Slashing damage.
Fire Breath (Recharge 5–6). Dexterity Saving Throw: DC 13, each creature in a 15-foot Cone. Failure: 22 (4d10) Fire damage. Success: Half damage.
Weakening Breath. Strength Saving Throw: DC 13, each creature that isn’t currently affected by this breath in a 15-foot Cone. Failure: The target has Disadvantage on Strength-based D20 Tests and subtracts 2 (1d4) from its damage rolls. It repeats the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. After 1 minute, it succeeds automatically.
love the design
I also love the new design. More kite-like rather than an old chinese-style dragon face on a western dragon's body. Wings are a little small, though.
Like all dragons, lost Constitution and Charisma save proficiencies.
Used to have a Bite attack that dealt 9(1d10+4) piercing, now it has two Rends that deal 9(1d10+4) slashing each.
Weakening Breath, like other secondary breath weapons on metallic dragons, is no longer rechargeable and can be used instead of the two Rends. Weakening breath now can only affect a creature once and no longer affects those affected. It's still a repeatable saving throw. The fact that it affects Strength makes creating a Dexterity-based fighter look appealing, but those two Rends are a little nasty for melee.
Fusion time! BRING BACK THOSE CON AND CHARISMA SAVE PROFICIENCIES!
More like fusion time: Make special breath of metallic dragons have a recharge once more... They are not to problematic for wyrmlings since they cant use their breath and attack the same turn, but for older version (specially adult and ancient), that became ridiculous brainless spam.
