Description

Looking for Love at Any Cost

Habitat: Coastal or Desert; Treasure: Relics (Rings)

A Sand Bride is a colossal ooze made of sand who’s just trying to find love. While they have no sex, they typically identify as female. The Sand Bride can transform into the “perfect” prospective partner for a new love interest. They tend to resort to extreme and violent measures if their advances are rebuked, often restraining their target and make them take their vows by force.

They are typically found in sandy areas, such as beaches or deserts. When they find a willing partner (or one they can subdue without lethal force), they live in relative peace until their partner escape or expires. When killed, the bones of their former paramours are often found within their body. The only treasure they actively seek are magic rings to symbolize their love.
