mens imperium. any creature within 50 ft of the main body of the creature must make a dc 16 constitution check or be infected. infected individuals will feel the urge to go towards the vines of the creature and touch them. when the vines are touched (this applies to vine attack) the target is poisoned, this poison both deals 2d4 poison damage at the end of their turn, they are also driven to attack friends and allies.

vine attack. the vines of the creature attack the closest creature to them, attacking up to 5 times. 1d20+2 to hit, on hit deal 2d8+1bludgeoning damage and 1d6+2 poison damage.

voluntary split. this creature will duplicate, both versions will have half of the current hp of the single organism (eg 55hp will result with a 28hp monster and a 27 hp monster.) temp hp is duplicated between both versions.

involuntary split. if the monster is hit with any slashing damage greater than 10, it will duplicates, both versions will have half of the current hp of the single organism (eg 55hp will result with a 28hp monster and a 27 hp monster.) if temp hp is applied to the monster before hand (false life from a friendly wizard for example) it will not split unless the real hp is subtracted by 10
