Description

Small mushrooms usually a deep red or pink color that glows, shedding 5 ft. Of dim light in dark conditions. These fungi are lethal as their very touch is withering to all living things, these fungi have an unquenchable thirst for blood and will stop at nothing to have it. Their habitat consist of damp dark places usually caves, swamps or the floor of extremely dense forests, as they come into contact with other plants and living things they slowly warp them. When an undying fungi begins to grow on another plant such as a tree, it wraps and twists the bark distorting the color and hardening it’s bark. As years go by and animals and other prey fall victim to these unholy fungi, the body of their prey doesn’t rot, they drain the blood from their foe and slowly cover the victim shriveling and twisting its skin until it is barely recognizable of what it used to be. Rabbits, dogs, bears and many would be adventurers have fallen to these fungi, the fungi can and will when threatened raise the fallen form of its victims to fight as fungal zombies in order to take down larger prey and protect itself.
