Actions

Multiattack. The yutyrannus makes two attacks: one with its Bite and one with its Claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d12 + 4) piercing damage.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing damage.

Description

A cold-weather relative of the tyrant lizards, the Yutyrannus is cloaked in thick insulating feathers that range from snowy white to slate-grey with faint blue undertones. Shorter and slightly leaner than a tyrannosaurus rex, it is adapted for endurance in freezing climates rather than raw dominance.

In the tundra forests of the Beastlands, it moves like a winter storm—silent, patient, and devastating when it strikes.

Behavior & Ecology

Yutyrannus are solitary or pair-bonded hunters that patrol wide tundra territories. Their feathered coats provide both warmth and camouflage in frost-covered forests. They often stalk prey for long periods, using terrain and snow cover to approach unnoticed.

During blizzards, they become especially active—using reduced visibility to ambush larger herbivores.
