A xifrill will only emerge in the Material Plane in forests under a full moon and will never approach anyone under the evil alignment. If a xifrill approaches a creature, it can attune itself to them and become their familiar. However, if the xifrill gets mistreated, it will unattune itself and leave the creature's side forever.
