Description

building multi layer nests in large cave systems, the Ungolaith have one goal, to feed, some large nests ocupy small mountain villages, while others serve as loyal pets to a faction strong enough to feed their vast hunger. The nest serves a queen who due to demonic intervention always has the upper body of a female dark elf. This queen rules the nest like a small kingdom and makes executive decisions. She is also one of the few breeders within the nest. Ungolaith feed on anything from rats to draggons, if they can catch and kill it, they will eat it. However they are not dumb, they rig their hives with traps and sticky webs and when the battle seems lots shall flee as fast as they arrived. Ungolaith Queens can change in to a Humanoid form to entice pray in to their Nests.

Lair and Lair Actions

An Ungolaith hive is a terrifying place to be, with traps and webs everywhere you must watch your footing carefully lest yo become a tasty morsel to go with the recently captured mammoth. Pools of poison litter the hive as it drips from the fangs of the Ungolaith and explodes from the eggs of the new hatchlings.
