Greetings Beyonders!
I am very happy to announce an important change to how you can run your campaigns. The 12 active character limit has been replaced by a 12 active player limit.
Here are some important bits about this change:
- The DM does not count against the 12 player limit
- There is a new active character limit of 99 - this is subject to change as we are monitoring usage, performance, etc.
- If a campaign has met the 12 player limit, no new players can join (even if there are unclaimed characters)
Also, hi! I'm Dani and I'm a new(er) addition to the DDB team and I hope to be sharing many more updates with you guys in the future :)

i has a ruind mind
I know I'm a bit late to the show to see this and realize it, but this is awesome!
Is it possible to better sup port Living Campaign type play by changing these limits?
Im still looking to get a 4th campaing running on dndbeyond. I have 5 games running and im dm in 4 of them bit i cant use the encounter builder properly since i have 4 campaings devided in 3 of the avaliable.
I have a question: I have a campaign, with one player (excluding me) in it. Only 3 characters are allowed to use that campaign. Why not all 6 from the free version?
is it posable the player limit will be increased again one day?
