Hello Fellow Beyonders,
I'd like to announce that we now have the ability to gift purchases on our marketplace!
After adding something to your cart, you will see an option for "Purchase as a gift" right above the "Proceed to Checkout" button. When you choose this option, you will receive a product key code for each item. You will be able to find it in your account page under the marketplace tab. You can then send it to someone for them to redeem on their account.
For questions about how gifting works specifically, visit our FAQ page on our help center.
Visit the Marketplace today and start making your gifting plans for the holidays!
.
But how?
Go to "Marketplace", and click "store". From there, if you go to one of the side tabs (Featured, Bundles, Sourcebooks, etc.) an icon called "filters" should show up next to the icon for "cart" (the icon might only show up in certain side tabs. For me, it's in Bundles, but not Featured). Click on the filters icon, and switch the dot for "show items I own" (it should be the only switch in there). After that, all the content should pop up on that tab. After that, just add the book you wanna gift to your cart, and then once you go to your cart, there will be a spot just underneath the list of things in your cart where you can select "Purchase as a Gift" or "Purchase for Myself".
Is this not available for digital/physical bundles? I do not see this option in my cart for the Deck of Many Things digital/physical bundle. If that's some kind of policy, what a shame, the whole bundle would have made a great gift I would have gladly spent on, so you're losing my sale. We both lose out!
How would I gift Volo's Guide to a friend if i can't seem to find it on Marketplace anymore? I already own it, but i want to buy it again for a friend who wants to use one of the races in the book.
