Picture this: You've just completed your collection of the 2024 Core Rulebooks from your friendly local game store and you're looking for a community to find a game, chat with other D&D players, and have fun. Enter the official D&D spaces!
Spaces for New and Veteran Players Alike

Our communities are full of fans of every class and level who can offer advice, help with character creation, or even become your next player or Dungeon Master! We have dedicated spaces for whatever kind of D&D discussion you can think of, including player and DM tips, advice for newcomers to the game, worldbuilding, and even character builds!
Share Your Creations and Tell Your Stories
Are you an artist who loves to draw D&D characters, a dice maker creating shiny math rocks, or a cartographer who crafts amazing maps for D&D players to use? Perhaps you're an avid homebrew enthusiast who loves to show off awesome magic items, spells, and subclasses? We have channels and subforums for you to share your amazing creations and stories with the community!
Join the D&D Forums and Discord Servers

Whether you prefer the old school feel of online forums or use Discord as your main communication platform, we're sure to have a space suited to your needs.
D&D Beyond Forums
The D&D Beyond Forums are the place for you if you prefer slower-paced conversation or, like me, enjoy a well-crafted play-by-post campaign, and forum access is already included with your D&D Beyond account.
Pop into the class forums to get feedback on character builds, or take a load off with a quick forum game! How would you continue the One Word Campaign?
D&D Discord
The official Dungeons & Dragons Discord mimics many of the topics of conversation the forums have, but at a much faster pace—perfect for the player who's got a game soon but no idea what to play! Pop into the Character Discussion channel and let our awesome community members help you out.
Share the joy and fun of preview season with other excited players! In the past, we've held book tie-in events like the Battle of the Subclasses (2024 Player's Handbook), The Quest to Find Daisy (Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk), and even a D&D-themed Puppy Bowl Poll! (While these events have been Discord-only, we're always looking for ways to bring the fun to the forums, too!)
Sigil VTT Discord
Join a growing community of Sigil players in the recently opened Sigil VTT Discord and share your builds, get advice from other players, and give your feedback on our new 3D VTT!
We're Looking Forward to Seeing You!
No matter where you choose to hang out with us, you'll always find a welcoming community with whom to share your love of D&D.

Online Adventurer's League would be nice for those who don't have an accessible AL event offline.
Not in a rush to join Discords after last night, but I do think that, when managed by people with proper training, DND Discords are fun places.
Nice!
We don't have that luxury in our country and you're supposed to be pushing D&D for non-US countries too.
Forums, Discord, Sigil or Adventurers League?
No way, I had my thread featured on an official post! Thank so much!
Congratulations. It’s definitely an interesting game.
Sup
Yeah congrats! So cool for stuff like forum games and Adohands to get some recognition
