Posted Oct 20, 2025I, for one, love the playlist. I don't understand why people are mad about something that is clearly casual.

Posted Oct 22, 2025I'd suggest looking up Travis Savoie on Youtube. He has composed a number of background soundtracks for D&D. I'm a huge fan of his Waterdeep Dragon Heist track, and I've never interacted with that adventure.

Posted Oct 22, 2025Great idea! "Back in the day" we used to listen to Jethro Tull, Beatles, Styx, Jean-Michel Jarre and Black Sabbath on LPs while plying D&D. This is the modern equivalent.

Posted Oct 22, 2025Only Metallica, Maiden and Ozzy are saved here.
The combination of the rest is so cringe!
Note: Orinoco Flow really can be an awesome Elf entrance tune...but that's it!

Posted Oct 23, 2025I listened to the entire track, and it lacks any modern rock, instead featuring only classics. I don't understand why we can't associate it with modern rock music or other tastes.
I know it's Discord users' favorite songs, but it feels like they picked and prodded the songs to their liking, and why is there techno in the dnd music

Posted Oct 23, 2025For everyone complaining about it being all 80's songs. This was what the discord post was asking for so...
"Submit your favorite 80s tracks, battle music, and ambient vibes to help us build a playlist that captures the energy and atmosphere of an epic game night."
I'm glad to see my suggestion for Spellbound by Siouxsie and the Banshees got added.

Posted Oct 24, 2025Maybe tell Spotify to get with Elgato and make an api extension for controlling Spotify through a stream deck.
Otherwise, all my music/sfx is organized offline in folders and triggered by StreamDeck. Ive got it all nicly laid out in folder groups on my SD and it works wonderfully.

Posted Oct 24, 2025Here is an unofficial Apple Music playlist with 107 of 108 songs from the Spotify playlist.
Edit: the only song not on Apple Music, currently, is The Cold Sword by Eternal Champion.
